You can email them and they generally answer pretty fast smile

I see Yacco as very close to Total...maybe Motul and Yacco are buying their base stocks from Total ? Or is Yacco more than a blender?

I used to like the Yacco Galaxie, for some reason, probably the flashy red 2L jugs laugh

Curious about opinions too.

Is it Citroen C3 (EB2 engine) oil you're looking for? B71 2296 may not be the right one,double-check your manual.

If you're interested in B71 2296 for another vehicle :
Yacco do list the specs and approvals.
This is one with OEM (PSA and Renault approvals):

The PSA b71 2296 is nothing very special-it is based on ACEA A3/B4 requirements + some in-house tests. Mostly 5w-40..0w-40 ,normal SAPS levels,Gr.III oils.
Another excellent oil fulfilling this was Mobil SyntS 5w-40 now renamed to Mobil Super™ 3000 X1 5W-40
You can successfully use any 5w-40; 0w-40 ACEA A3/B4 MB-approved 229.5 oil ...

Yacco has non-PSA approved VX1000LL oil:
which has PAO base oil in the formulation:
..and is on MB 229.5 approval list

Yacco used to sponsor an Escort Cosworth Group A privateer rally car back in the day.

I NEVER knew they were an oil company until this thread! LOL
