The "Hiding behind a beard" thread has me wondering. Does anyone have a clipped mustache that doesn't fall below the lips? Are you in law enforcement or male cinema?

Me too. It didn't look like me, and I didn't like the look either. I have a wide upper lip that needs a moustache.

But my moustache has evolved over time. Used to be bushy, now very short.

I had the "Ringo Starr" for a while. It was awesome. Now have beard too.

I sported a mustache for 20+ years. The older I got, the more closely trimmed I kept it. One day, I just shaved it off and said, I'm done.

I had a 'stache from the mid 80's to 2015, not clipped, not porn star, somewhere in between. I look better without it, but now I've gotten lazy and only shave about once a week.

As other posters said, the older I got the shorter I trimmed my mustache. One day my adult children's friends said only old people have mustaches and that it was so 70's. I cut it off a few days later.

Had a mustache from 1970 to 2002. Then went to full beard which I still have.

Back in the 80's we used to say that a 'stache/beard worked like velcro. With the naughty word censor being as strong as it is, I'll have to let you all figure out the rest.

I'm new here and don't know names yet, but I'm pretty sure this was done by a few of the regulars here.

Drive near a Navy base some day. They're all required to have a Standard Navy Mustache at one point in their career or another.
