Grease gun suggestions

Unlike other things, I never put much thought into grease gun selection. Using the KISS principle, I have always used the basic Lincoln 1147 gun. My current gun must be over 20 years old. On rare occasions it would be nice to have a pistol grip or some other doo dad. But really, even with a dozen or more pieces of ag. equipment to maintain at work, I spend very few minutes a year greasing things.

i strongly prefer lever action greasers...i always have made a long (2 ft) hose for them. the gun can always be placed on the ground or against the machine and operated that way. even though made overseas now, the lincolns are nice.
90 percent of the problems with a grease gun are people not knowing how to use them.

lever action produces more PSI to push grease in a half frozen zerk.

How often will you use it?

Not too many grease fittings on things a homeowner has except maybe a boat & trailer.

Lincoln makes quality ones.

I have about 5.

They're expensive, but the best one I've found is the Alemite Heavy-Duty Grease Gun - ALE-1056-SE4.

I'll be buying my first grease gun in prep's for lubricating my new snow-blower. I'm waiting for this Lincoln 1134 to meet my price alert of $37:

Best Grease gun i have ever owned is a Carquest 30298 which is an Alemite 555e

Pistol Grip 7500psi Probably 100 tubes of grease has went thru it, i had it at my garage and my heavy truck shop..now its in my home garage.

I have owned pneumatic grease guns, Dewalt cordless grease guns, and many other handhelds.

I dont think i have owned a Lincoln Pistol Grip but my Alemite is flawless.

Full size ?

Well , I purchased a grease gun , when I purchased my last press . Being cheap , I picked one up at HF . Should have aimed higher , but no more often than it is used , not the end of the world .

My cars do not seem to have any grease zerts . At least , not that I can find .

Does Stewart sound right ? Its red and lever action, pushing 50yrs old I might be mis-remembering, Maybe it is a Lincoln
