I have a suspician that those two "courses" are very basic, beginner level stuff. If you are a beginner, then sure, sign up and take them. Otherwise, I think a 2 day defensive pistol class with a pro is WAY better.

I've taken both courses at the student level and at the instructor level, and I've been an instructor or RO for both.
You're suspicion is confirmed.
Not bad courses at all, IMO, as there's a real need for something for beginners who've only had something like NRA's basic pistol.
Again -- and it's certainly a matter of opinion -- they form a decent basis or foundation for the beginner who wishes to carry.
The courses from Pincus, Ayoob, etc. are a level up.
