Way before advanced warning... Only thing a local forecaster had a barometer... Which when it started dropping quickly the two weather forecasters knew everyone was in huge trouble.

I would NOT want to live in that area due to the flooding.

It was smart for people to move out after Katrina.

Looking like storm surge, heavy rains, and flooding … but at least there will not be the major wind damage that many storms bring with all the other … Keeping the roofs on will limit where the risk to people and damage by water will occur …
