The drivetrain is valuable - I'm sure LKQ or one of the authorized rebuilders for the OEM(unless it's Toyota/Honda/Nissan) will grab them.
 
I'm sure Union Pacific and the automakers have insurance for that. Might be an expensive payout, since the dealers were expecting those cars. I'm not sure about chain of custody with cars.

The Molroney stickers do have the dealer's name on it as well as the method of transport but the cars might still be in possession of the OEM until it arrives at the railhead and gets processed by AWC or another logistics company which transfers ownership to the dealership.
 
Bummer for anyone who ordered one. I wonder if they drive some them out
