Perhaps more to the point, I need to replace a stock on a shotgun, no matter what, I am buying a stock anyhow. I'm thinking that this is as good a time as any to upgrade, at least a little. Recoil reduction is a useful feature.
I might also be inclined toward a sliding stock for more compact storage. Not a bit interested in folding stocks.
