Any input on this oil from NAPA? I have been using Pennzoil in my 2016 F150 EcoBoost every 6k. Earlier if I do towing.

Never seen Idemitsu carry the "Altrom" moniker.

At 36 for 4 quarts it seems expensive for 5-6K intervals.

I run their motor oil in my Honda and their trans fluids in all my vehicles- I can be considered a "Fan" but at the right price.

Good stuff for certain- I'm pretty sure m1 EP is hardier and for sub 30 bones at wal mart - a better buy.

At 36 bones you are in M1 AP with big % of PAO, and a few other higher end formulations.

Only their 5W-30 Zepro is Dexos 1 Gen 2 approved and API SN+ certified. The rest of their oils are not. For an Ecoboost you should choose an oil that is formulated for LSPI prevention, which means choosing one that is API SN+/Dexos 1 Gen 2 approved.
