With the rotors being in the way on both front and rear I put these on. In another biker forum a couple guys say don`t leave them on. Just use them to fill the air pressure. So anyone use these and do you take them off after a pressure check and fill or leave them on?

I use something similar to these when I change tires. Tubeless only

These seam to be very light . I just can`t see why they would cause a problem.

The actual 90 degree valve stems aren't an issue, but I think the screw on type is constantly pressing on the valve core, so your air seal essentially is dependent on the exterior threads of the valve core, which is not made to be air tight. Even with a rubber seal inside, if it slightly loosens, the air can start to leak.

Long term, replace the valve stem with a 90 degree one next time you have the tire off.

I have the 90 degree relpacement valve stems on order . And yes , I would replace with that when a tire change was due. I was hoping I could leave these on til that happened.
