06 Wrangler 4.0. T40 torx too loose, T45 won't fit. T40 fit perfect in the tensioner bolt btw. Is there a special socket bit for this?

start by cleaning the crud out of the socket. Try the T 45 again. I use one of those "gimme" shirt pocket screwdrivers to dig road grime out of them so the Torx will bottom out in the socket.

The Torx Plus looks to be able to apply torque better Another screw for robots.Thank you for knowledge. Do 2016 Camrys use them?

THIS

Speaking from experience, THIS

The spring in the tensioner isn't making noise. Actually the pulley bearing isn't either but I feel looseness. $14 vs. $45. It's a 76,000 mile truck. If it was 150,000 miles I would.

To me, it looks more like a Polydrive. If you look close you can see that the lobes are squared off and are not tapered like they are on a Torx Plus socket.
