Sorry if this is the wrong forum, but I made an impulse buy today because I needed a belt fast, and needed one that wouldn't cost me much if it went kerblammo immediately because of any underlying issues that caused the first belt to break. I expected the belt to be made in China, but it says Made in Italy. Anyone know of any manufacturers of inexpensive parts in Italy?

Pirelli used to make belts and hoses - I think Dayco bought that out. The only other company who makes non-tire rubber goods in Italy is Parker, but mostly for the scuba and agricultural industry.
Ive had a few Dayco belts made in Italy, and also Argentina.
It's a Dayco belt. Use with confidence.
I'd have more confidence in the Italian made than the Chinese made belt.
