Lucas and RP would be towards my last choices..

Lucas is mostly marketing, and RP while a good product is severely overpriced.

Motul gear 300, Amsoil or redline would get my vote..

if you want something from a box store, m1 or supertech.

I use Amsoil or M1 and never (God bless) had an issue with a front or read diff. I keep my vehicles to 200k miles +. But I also drain at 25/30k and then 50k/75k depending on use and application afterward.

Use Mobil 1â„¢ Synthetic Gear Lube LS in my Alaskan Chevy pickup, front and rear diffs. No problems whatsoever to at least the -35 F my poor truck has seen.

RP overpriced? Maybe at a store such as O'Reilly's or AAP. Summit has it for $16.13/qt, which is less then Amsoil & Redline. Plus you do not need to be a preferred customer of Ams to get the better price. Otherwise, I feel Max Gear is leagues better then Ams, M1, or any other.
