I've been running 0w-40 M1 euro in my '94 VFR 750. No complaints so far. I know there's another guy on here running m1 10w-30 iirc in his RC45 and has had no complaints, he's been doing it for years and another friend of mine who is an oil nut on here convinced me to run the 0w-40 euro.

FWIW I use Valvoline VR1 in my Harley and it's not a motorcycle specific oil. Seems to work very well.
For Harley Davidson engines, regular old Havoline 20W-50 has been used by tons of guys, for hundreds of thousands of miles. UOA's have been fantastic. I have a Sportster and found that any 20W-50 works fine. For the primary (shared with transmission on Sporties) I just stick with the HD Formula plus. It's only about $6, so don't mess with anything else. Local Indy shop has it.
With the UOA's of the Havoline 20w50, what is the zinc/phosphorus content?

The last UOA I saw showed 1094 Zinc. Just search over at the HD Forums. I believe there are some UOAs here as well.
