5w20 55-gal drum

Downside is you have to order it in 55 gal drums for the $1.82 qt price

Homedepot.com also sells it in 5 gallon buckets with free shipping for $55 here

Theres some VOAs out there for the full syn, havent seen anything on the synblend, seems like a decent oil and is cheap for those who do others oil (some of yall I know do oil changes for your elderly neighbors, etc) I believe they sell 5w30 and possibly 10w30 for the same price as well, for you oil burning old Saturn or jeep drivers out there

The corny oil powered robot commercial in the product image gallery is comical

The NOACK at 14.5 appears to be kinda high for the SB 5w20

I had a 12-pack case of 1 quart shipped to my door from them. Just over $37 dollars.

Cost was about $3.14 per quart

Amazon was selling the blend for about $15 a case a few years ago. I grabbed one and did two oil changes in the Santa Fe. No issues.

The 5 gallon pail is pretty logical. Especially for those that do 3-4 Oil Changes a year in a truck with a 6-8 qt sump

5 gallons is great for someone who has 3 or 4 cars in the family. 55 gallons is a little bit of a stretch. If there's a rebate, then I might want in.

The rebate is at the end, when you get a newly emptied 55gallon drum to turn into a BBQ grill or smoker. thumbsup

Would you actually eat food cooked in a motor oil drum?

Yes? We had a mechanic welding shop back home that made grills out of their drums when they got empty? Theres how to instructions on how to do it out there.

I've eaten food cooked on turbine engines on the M1 Abrams I served on before. Nothing like diamond plated charred burgers with some Royco 560 oil.

Regardless, the drum price is a pretty decent deal for those that need it/looking for it

There's a guy around here who makes steel drum barbeques. He cuts them, adds hinges & a chimney. Adds little vent doors and a thermometer. Really good quality. I've often wondered about where he sources his oil drums. I never bought one, because who knows what kind of toxic chemical was in those drums, and how that will effect your food.

Back to the motor oil........great price. How long would it take you to use a 55 gallon drum?

When's the last time you saw a Milesyn commercial, ad, NASCAR, etc?

Probably due to lack of marketing?
Safety Kleen around here is cheap too, theres distributors that are cheaper than this and will deliver it themselves free.

Idk. A few people on here have ran it, I'll probably get a 5 gallon pail and run it in my truck and my girls fiesta and get some uoas

If you sign up for Zoro promos, you'll get a 15% off code, and they occasionally go higher than that. I bet under $2/quart is possible. I have loads of cheap PCMO, so I don't need it, but it is a decent deal.
