Are there any decent quality hitch receiver brake lights out there? Seems like all of them out there are simple two wire jobs which will activate with a unilateral
Turn signal. I have a nice one from Oreilly's auto on clearance but it uses an old style bulb with a twist base, let alone led. But it does have full support for running and brake lights without activating on either turn signal. Anything like this in LED out there??

Also funny note. It fits the wiring plug on my 2011 f150 perfectly but seems like the overall dimensions are a tad small for our 2018 f150. It's a 4 pin plug...

The ones I have found seemed pretty junky.

I guess I wonder why it is needed. Is it just a gadget like dice valve stem caps?

Extra visibility for those texting drivers? I personally dont like them but they are a step abovt useless/junk(those dice valve stem covers)

Ford auto stop bypass. Right now I just have a trailer working tester plugged in but figured it would be nice to actually have something useful there. The one I have is nice, well made and properly wired with all four wires used but the plug itself fits poorly and the wires are too short to reach. Plus it uses that incandescent bulb.

You could just find a red LED bulb that swaps in place of the incandescent.
