HF Yukon Storage Cabinet

Does anyone have any experience with this brand.

I'm not to worried about how it rolls, I won't be moving it once it's setup. This would also give me a small work bench.

No , our HF store stocks tool cabinets in several colors and probably several sizes .

I still have a Craftsman top cabinet , from 40 years ago , when I worked maintenance .

No idea about the HF cabinets . What type of warranty do they have ?

Yukon is their bargain brand, US General is the nicer cabinet that comes in multiple colors and sizes.

Yukon current price is $200 and the 44" USG has a coupon price of $440.

I have the 44" US General with a top box and the build quality is great for a bargain unit. Nice hinges and drawer glides. Feel both in the store and this is where the difference is. The USG is 110 pounds heavier when empty.

90 days, same as the other ones they have. I think I remember someone here saying the US General there were good but I don't want to spend that much and beside like you I have a Craftsman roller chest with top cabinet that is over 25 years old and it has been great.

One reason besides cost this appealed to me is the layout, I don't need any more smaller draws for small hand held tools, I need storage for bigger hand held tools.

Ah posted at the sam time. The thing is the US General doesn't have a roller chest with the same type of layout.

You don't know how bad I wish we had a Homedepot instead of Menards.

After searching some I see my home town Sears has a couple on sale they actually have in stock.

I've seen that Husky one go on sale recently, might be worth watching long term. Definitely check the price regularly at your local store if you are in the market for something like that.

Only you know what you want/need, but those Craftsman units are only giving you about half the storage space that the Yukon would.

With the Yukon I was going to replace the bottom cabinet of what I have now and use it for something else but with the smaller one I can keep what I have and put this one next to it.
