Allegedly a test-mule for the new Bronco. And no, it won't actually look like this. ...„ Most likely testing the chassis/suspension/power train with a chopped-up Ranger body installed. They're really hiding the rear suspension set-up with those brush sets.

That's what I'm afraid of. IRS just doesn't seem right in a Bronco, but this is Ford. It does look like it has some ground clearance, but the big tires are helping.

Not that I'm going to buy one anyway, I bought me a fancy used Explorer. 247K miles isn't that much over 25 years. ...
 
I didn't know there was going to be a "family" of Broncos as the article states, should be interesting.

I like the ground clearance and solid rear axle. TTB or a solid axle up front would be nice, but I know that won't happen.

I hope it's not really ugly.
