Amazing deal! A year's membership is worth it for this alone.

Also I have the product, bought through them for more money, and it's as awesome as anyone can imagine.

Have the product as well in the XL version. Problem I found is that you cannot access anything under the vehicle from the sides. Ordered split lines to be able to go under the front or rear without going over the lift hoses. Still have those times when a floor jack and two or four jack stands works best.

Agreed. I also bought the QuickJack BL5000-SLX at Costco ($999) and had to also purchase the rail extensions to work with my Optima (worked great without the extensions on my Rogue). I have Rhino Ramps with wood extensions to get under my lowered Optima for quick oil changes, etc. Far less fuss and muss BUT when I need to rotate tires, work on suspension or exhaust stuff, brakes, etc. the QuickJack is awesome for that. I also have two great floor jacks and two jack stands as backups, etc.

All in all, worth the price to me but it is not cheap. Watch all the various YouTube videos by the company for assembly and usage tips and it will save you a ton of time and frustration. Also, download the latest users manual from their website as it gets revised often!

Why did they cheap-out with using 14 gauge steel (1/16") instead of better & thicker (1/8" thick)11 gauge?

I had a cheap Chinese bench press (from Sears) that was the same thickness, and it was **NOT** confidence inspiring.

5,000 lbs.... rated HOW??
I know FULL WELL that a 12 ton (24,000 lb) capacity hydraulic bottle jack will NOT lift anywhere close to that much!!

You would use the 7,000 pound version of the QuickJack for larger vehicles. See their website for the correct sizing to your application.

With all due respect I just dont get it. A two post lift is not that much more at all. A Dannmar Max Jax at Northern Tool is 1800 bucks compared to the high capacity quickjack which is 1,525. Unless you are very space restricted I dont know why anyone would want this type of lift.

I agree.

Just use layered boards if you want to safely lift your vehicle.

You are right on point. Not everyone can install a lift. Some people don't have the space.

Worthless.

A two post for working on cars or forget it.

I'm in an apartment. No way to install a lift.

Seems about the right size to me given my space.

That's what a lot of these guys just don't get. How would you install a lift in your garage? Can you cut out the ceiling?

These are fantastic for the racetrack. Load in the trailer, take to the track. Great for working under the hood and getting the car up off the ground just high enough to not break your back. Of course it's not a 2-post, but it's costs less than half what a 2-post costs (once you factor installation). And it's portable.
