Been that price at my WM for six months. They are $12,96 away from a sale.

Some of us nailed that price when they first rolled it out, as a number it would fall to. Next will be to see if they discontinue it and blow it out at closeout prices.......

I agree with the movement of the thread but I have had to look for moved threads before that sometimes took some effort to find.
Do they think it would be a helpful Idea to tell us where you moved it?

It sure seems like there is some kind of problem with this oil. Regular M1 is selling like hot cakes...

most of us run plain, hm, or ep mobil 1...so spending another 10 dollars a jug for little to no benefit is lost on us.

It's too far out price wise from the EP 15K formulation.

Refresh my memory- ignoring price, is EP or AP considered the better quality oil ? Off the top of my head, I would have said EP, but now I am doubting my memory.

It's all marketing. Somebody will see the $22.88 product, and think that they will spend that to change oil every 6 months. Then consider the $35.84 product as a better deal, because it's good for the whole year.

But Mobil 1 EP is good for a whole year for the average driver and its $25 and change on Rollback.

I don't get what the Annual protection thing is about.

I've run Group I conventional oil for 24 months / 6000 miles lol

The "average driver" doesn't know that. Ever notice how it's always the same handful of people posting on every topic? The "average driver" keeps lube shops, dealerships, and anyone else with a "coupon special" in business.

I always thought it would be hard pressed to gain market share from EP, especially at the off the wall price it was first offered at. I still believe that to be true, even at current prices.
