How do you see this? I know you're saying the sale starts tomorrow, but is it in an ad somewhere? When I go to the website it is just showing $80 off of 4.

I would not recommend Sam's Club for tires. I'm sure that they're just fine for most people, but I just got tires delivered and installed at my Sam's Club this week- I ordered the tires a month ago. No one wanted to help me, the Tire Center manager told me to "call samsclub.com", who then told me to call the store. When I ordered the tires, it said that they would receive the tires in 3-5 days, what they meant was 3-5 weeks. I would've ordered something that they had in stock, but they apparently don't stock a 205/55/R16 tire.

Bought many sets of tires from Sam's Club, but not any more if I can help it.

They are extremely picky on tire repairs they can make-"company policy".

Bought a set of Goodyears from Discount Tire last Fall and was treated like a prince at purchase time and when it came for the first rotation and balancing.

I suppose, as usual, it depends on the store. so far I'm sold on them.

Costco has a 70 + 60 (if you pay w/Costco card) total 130 off on Michelins.

I actually have had good experiences with Sam's, I've bought their road hazard on commercial tires (nobody else will sell toad hazard on commercial), and they've actually replaced tires a couple times-including when somebody (not me) stuck an ice pick in two on the same van.

I had purchased a set of Pirelli P4s from Sam's Club approximately three years ago. At the time, the Pirelli's had a projected 100,000 tread life.

The tires basically self destructed at 45,000 miles. Two of the tires had an obvious belt shift.

The manager at my local Sam's club could not have been more helpful. He prorated the Pirelli tires, coupled with the sale and installation special that Sam's had two weeks ago, I was out the door with a new set of BF Goodrich TA's for $310.00.

Needless to say, I was very happy with Sam's and very unhappy with Pirelli. Incidentally, the Pirellis were made in China and the BF Goodrich ties were made in the USA.

If you want to do the Sam's deal this can help...

https://www.ebay.com/p/4-Pirelli-P4...Season-Tires/6030774623?iid=283356539881

Get a matched quote from Discount Tire and ask if it can be mounted for ten bucks a tire. They will match the price on Ebay.

Finally go to Sam's Club and have them match this quote. Take the $140 rebate, keep the receipt in your glovebox, and then come back three years later when you find out that your Pirelli tires were made out of Chinese government goo.

Get a new set, this time made in the USA, and start shopping for non-Chinese products.

It's the American way.
