Study on detergent additives and abrasiveness

Found this on a Canadian news site I frequent.

Nothing really new, but interesting about soot being a 'lubricant' until it is encapsulated, then it becomes abrasive.

You double posted "Thoughts on this article". However, I'd like to encourage posters to be a bit more explicit with their headings. This one said what it was about. Thoughts on this article could be about anything.

What are you talking about? I posted a link to the article, and asked for discussion about it. Obviously I'm asking for what people think of this study and its conclusions.

I suspect this one might get looks that the original post "Thoughts on this article"-- eleven posts down-- didn't. Your subject heading is better and the other article will probably drop off the stack in a few hours. In the meantime, you might want to read the posts on the original thread.
