Delayed Delivery to Blackstone.

I've sent several samples to Blackstone and it seems nearly everyone gets delayed and delivered after USPS says it will get there.

Anyone else notice this? I suspect they are getting secondary inpection or something.

Very common.
That black container gets lost.

Put it in a white mailer and it goes right through.

Mine always get there fine (per the tracking numbers), its blackstone I don't hear anything from for 2-3 weeks.

That's an idea but would not take advantage of their postage paid labeling. One or the other I guess.

I'd say 10 days or so for emailed results.

I shipped medical laboratory samples through the mail for 40 years. Packed to Regs they are harmless...but often someone in the mail system will refuse to touch them until the "other guy" gets back from vacation. So our sample sits for two or three weeks often at the local post office a mile from delivery. We paid for 3 day delivery and about 5% of our items took a few weeks.

Same thing happens to Blackstone samples along their routes to their lab.

UPDATE:

After five days with no USPS tracking updates they did finally deliver the sample to Blackstone this morning. That has to be a record delay for deliveries in my experience.
