I did the opposite, brought my 1/2'' torque wrench home and use the one at work. It sits next to my bay, and I'm mostly the one to use it. We don't to head jobs anymore, it's not worth the labour costs, we just put another engine in.

It does torque angle and counts the bolts????? Wow that would be handy now days. Ask him if he's got another one I'd be down for that action.
Color don't do much for me but ya know what I do like that lime green!

Apparently it does.

Digitally tracks torque and angle measurement. Multiple alerts when the
target torque is reached prevent over-torqueing of bolts. Handle vibrates,
buzzer sounds and LCD screen alerts when the target torque is reached
• Three function modes: peak torque, angle and peak angle
• "Target Torque Alert" and "Target Angle Alert" gives a warning as the target
torque or target angle is approached, so there is less chance of
over torqueing a bolt
• Accurate in clockwise direction +/- 2% and +/-3% in a counter-clockwise
direction, from 20% to 100% of full scale
• Angle Accuracy (+/-1% of Reading) + (+/-1 degree @ angular
velocity >10 degree/sec sec) + (+/-1 degree of
test fixture)
• Five torque measurement units are available: Nm, ft-lbs,
in-lbs, kgf-m, kgf-cm
• Ten torque setting presets for frequently repeated applications
• Meets or exceeds ASME B107.300
• Requires 2 AA (alkaline) batteries

That's the only regret about getting rid of my Torq-O-meter's......Nothing will ever match a good quality Dial torque wrench for that particular purpose.

Yeah I don't know how an electronic could do rotational... maybe record max min over a period of time.??? It's nice to be able to see live what's going on though.

I don't know if I would trust that one from Gearwrench as far as quality goes. The Snap on is the gold standard for that type of tool and the price reflects it but for a working mechanic its the best way to go IMO.

I have the same one. Different color. I love it and use it every day. The torque angle feature is fantastic for torquing head and main bolts. I traded in my old click type one for it for a great deal similar to yours about 6 months ago.
