Super 76 was in there, VR1, and a variety of stuff used to top it off. Can't remember how many miles, but pretty sure it was at least 4k.
Nothing to write home about, it's a wix...

I was thinking the same. What ever happened to honest hack sawing?

Two reasons:
1: I'm the idiot that saws an inch into the baseplate before realizing it,
2: The hack grit gets in the way, I prefer the "clean" cut of tin snips.

LoL that made me laugh. I opened one once with the edge of the grinding wheel on my bench grinder.

I was thinking Wolverine opened it up.

But yes, hacksaws, cut off wheels, dermel tools do get a lot of debris into the filter, making you wonder if it was from the engine or cutting the filter apart.

Filter looks fine though, just like every other NAPA/Wix I have seen

It gets the job done. It's just easier to cut out the dome with snips.

If you use a hacksaw or cut-off-wheel, cut *right next to* the crimp seam, since the metal immediately behind that is just the baseplate - and no grit will get inside the can
