It's a SR Extra Cab V6 Auto 4x2

. Way less money 3k than a similar
equiped Ridgeline which was my first
  choice
. Doesn't drive much different than the
wifes 2017 Highlander I was pretty
surprised by that, quite and solid feeling
. Keeping rpm under 1500 will give 24
mpg or better around town but on the
Highway with cruse on my last trip gave
  23.7 mpg
. More than a couple hours in the seat
and it begins to feel like a piece of pipe
is trying to come thru the seat beneath
  the crack of your but.
. It's tall to get in and out of compaired to
my old '95 Tacoma then the seat is low
to the floor when your seated.
. Fit and finish is flawless as far as I can
  see inside and out
. I like the sound system better than the
  Highlander another suprise
. You have to remove a skid plate to
  change the oil filter

Nice review, thanks! I noticed one at the dealer here with a manual and it's pretty loaded. I had to scroll through the pics to make sure it wasn't a misprint, lol. The only 4x2 they have in stock is a 4cyl one.

We tried a Tacoma and this put it off the new truck list. Toyota quality but it's like climbing up and sitting in a tall Camry.

No because its not a ridgeline

What do you think about the shifting? It seems that everyone says they shift terribly. When Car and Driver reviewed the Trd Pro they had three paragraphs talking about how bad the transmission is...heres a few quotes "The six-speed automatic transmission suffers from dimwitted programming" "The TRD-branded sport exhaust doubles as the town bugler announcing the transmission's frenetic behavior on the freeway".

Kind of a shame as i wouldn't mind getting one but i have a transmission that is spoken of very well by others (zf 8 speed) and i still have complaints on it so im sure i couldn't stand the Taco's.
