Went using the Foxwell nt630 elite auto bleed function

Can you open up the bleeder screw and have the ABS unit pump out the old fluid? Or is just for removing air from the ABS unit?

Thanks

The automated bleed function purges air from the ABS module into the lines. You then bleed normally at the wheels. This process should be done first and, ideally, you would run the auto bleed function twice or three times if needed and re-bleed after each time. One note, on my '94 Corvette, there is a bleeder on the ABS module and I actually did the auto bleed and let the fluid run out the bleeder . The I did it again with the bleeder closed and did a brake bleed at the wheels. Worked real nice.
