Maybe some of those "flush-able" moist wipes lightly used.
 
On one of the Subaru groups my son is a part of, some guy posted his used spark plugs for sale and he got ribbed pretty badly from everyone on there! One guy posted a picture of his half eaten lunch and offered it for sale too!

Not always, as shown by experimentation.
 
I sell it as "Pre-primed" filter for faster lubrication on start-up. Also ships with anti-corrosion oil coated internals. Media is also pre-tested and broken in for superior performance.

The used filter costs more than a new one but then it probably has a bit of oil in it.
