BITOG has been great to me for years and has been a great source of knowledge on how to work on my vehicles.
I figured I'd post these here first before attempting to sell them elsewhere.

1998 Ford F150 V6
116,966 miles

Time to sell it as I have not enough space for it and this one only gets driven on weekends.
Serviced my me over the past 10 years. I only clock a few thousand miles in it every year.
I did the differential with Amsoil when I got it 10 years ago and I don't tow, or tow boats, so it hasn't really gotten a workout like it could.
I dropped the transmission pan 10 years ago and added a spin on filter in the coolant loop.
Takes a FL-1A or clone, been changing that out once a year every year. So the transmission fluid is as good as if not better than new.
Has good tires and a new radio.

It's been used but is in good condition. Some scratches on the doors. Rhino lining on the bed.
Would be a great work truck or first truck for a kid. I expect many years of service out of it.

It's lived its life in North Texas, no rust.
Asking $3500

I'm in Plano Tx 75075

(Will update with pictures shortly.)

You need more details. 2wd or 4x4, automatic or stick, longbed or short bed, regular cab or xtra cab, XL or XLT, etc.

Thank you, never listed a car before. Typically I donate them or drive them into the ground.

2 Wheel Drive
Color White.
Automatic
6'6" Bed
3 Door, cab, with a nice sized bench in the back.
A/C works

I also need to be more detailed on everythhing.
I got it at 96k miles, in 10 years I've placed about 20k miles on it. It doesn't get out much but on weekends.

Steering wheel is peeling and has a black cover currently on it.
Doors have scratches from crazy person who didn't like the way I parked.
Passenger side door has a large scratch due to stacked chairs we were moving falling on it at church.

Let me know if I missed anything or if you have any other questions.
Going to empty it out and have it detailed.

The new radio has bluetooth and all the newer bells and whistles to tie in with other devices and works as a hands free device on calls.

Polish the headlights. Does wonders for curb appeal.

Are all the services in the back of the owners manual?

Nice enough truck. You'll get your price smile

Formerly in marine engineering. In an earlier life I owned my own petroleum tank truck, and hauled for the majors and independent's.

Pressure wash the engine compartment at a self service car wash. A detailed engine compartment leaves a great impression.

Ever had the intake gaskets replaced?
Common issue on the V6.

Too bad this is not a few years from now, will be needing something like this for my boy.

Good luck with the sale.

No, Never had an issue with the Intake Gaskets.

However, I've had it for the past 10 years.
Prior to that it was my Father-in-laws
He said that around 50k miles the engine went and Ford replaced it. That's when he got it.
So although the truck has over 100K miles, the engine does not.
No telling what Ford did, perhaps they replaced the intake gaskets with something better?
I haven't had any issues with the engine. I just do the BITOG thing and change the oil once a year regardless of mileage (Even if I feel bad pouring out engine oil that has 2,000 miles on it.)
