Good point. Technically it is not hazardous except maybe in California where everything is hazardous. I have seen MSDS sheets with moly listed. So it could be a hit and miss thing. The recent VOA posted here did show moly and boron.

The moly they use is not MoS2.

So this product has moly dtc, boron plus the Ester compound they advertise?

Quite the ingredient list. I'm surprised it doesn't get more publicity here.

I have reason to believe so based on some email correspondences I had a with the company a few years back. It has a small fan base. Typically additives get dumped on here so many people who use it would rather not deal with the possible hassle of saying they use it.

I use it in my 2010 Mountaineer 4.0 because on bitog the consensus is that timing chains cause the greatest oil shear. The 4.0 has 4 chains. I believe it can help in that area.

This, and the HyperLube ZRA are the ONLY ones I consider at all, though.
