I called Mobil 1 several weeks back and the nice lady I spoke to said the rebate would work with Walmart.
She went on to say the rebate would not work with Amazon.

Ya know, I've been denied rebates in the past and have called the rebate center(I keep their phone# until I receive my check).

After talking to a Rep, they'll[often] grant the rebate and send out a check immediately. I'll be very nice over the phone and tell them how much of their product I've purchased over the last umpteen years and that I would really appreciate them doing me this favor.

Just sent mine in old school mail in rebate form with WM purchase. Saved copies of everything same as I did last time with M1 rebate, WM also not on list. Received rebate then, expect same result this time.

Abide by the rules. That's how I was taught by my elders.
I will say ''told-you-so'', should Walmart refuse rebates to all that applied, showing a Walmart store receipt.
I may even wear a smile that day and raise a drinking glass to the sky, saluting my deceased parents.

Walmart hasn't been on the list on the web site for three years, at least, and I've received my rebate four times during 2017 and 2018 from Mobil 1 purchased at Walmart. I don't get why there is even any debate over this anymore.

I have never bothered with rebates but for a good while could find clearance oil. Seems this has turned into a brother in law deal since the only thing ever left is the sales tag on an empty rack …

Maybe my approach worked. I submitted my documentation online for the rebate May 11 and received the eCheck today. That's only three weeks. That's the amount of time it used to take before my most recent two took about ten weeks.

They process them in batches. So mine took seven weeks, but I knew when I submitted so quickly it was going to take a little while.

Gas Truck Oil, Pennzoil, and Havoline all processed and sent checks within 2 weeks. I still haven't gotten Mobil 1.

If and when the check comes, I will change my tune.

Today received my $24 M1 rebate submitted snail mail 4/24, purchased at WM. Makes it ~$11 a jug. So now listening Mr Trololo now sing his happy tune. beer Hate to say, told you so. Not really. laugh

Kudos to XM/M1 and WM. thumbsup

It's taken time on the Target one, but I've had both my rebate checks mailed out, including one from Walmart using the $5 coupon...

The level of stupidity (and/or) trolling is just amazing.

Follow the rules, fill out the forms correctly, wait the appropriate time and you will get your rebate.
Sometimes it takes a phone call or e-mail. If it is not worth your time, then don't do it and don't gripe about it.

There has never been a correctly filled out and rules followed rebate that I have not received.
Again, some have take a little more effort, but no big deal. No more time "wasted" than reading garbage here some days.
Only 2 ever denied were both my mistake (1 was oil purchased before rebate date, other was a fuel injector rebate, bought wrong one for rebate).

This current rebate I had all 4 rebates payed out (3 submissions). 2 of them were used in combination with the $5 Walmart gift card, 1 in combination with a $10 AutoZone rebate (also received), and all of them were with oil filters (with 2 of them being purchased at separate times from the oil).
Submitted electronically May 4, received e-mail checks on May 30. So almost a whole 4 weeks of waiting. Not a big deal, less than their estimated 6-8 weeks.
