2000 4Runner (253,060)
7,510 (2.5 years) on oil
Out Mobil1 75w-90
In Super Tech Syn 75w-140
Changing the fleet to 75w-140 and giving Super Tech Syn a try

1991 GMC Suburban

Out: unknown, plus some Rural King 80w-90 I'd added when I checked the oil level and it was low. When I added it oil started to leak a bit from the pinion and left axle. Oil was dark and magnet was loaded but not too bad.

In: Frankenbrew! More Rural King 80w-90, quart of Lucas Oil Stabilizer, 4oz Lubegard Seal Fixx, 10 ounce LG gear additive, and a half bottle of prolong I had lying about.

If it keeps leaking I guess I'll have to get around to the seals

1998 f250 light duty sterling 10.25 rear and 8.8 front.

This is the first time that I've changed the rear oil. Might have been changed before i don't know. I went ahead and changed the cover at the same time. Its an open diff. Refilled with 4 quarts valvoline Synpower 75w140.

Front i changed awhile ago with valvoline 75w90. Now I put in Chevron 75w90 synthetic. About 2 quarts

I have Super Tech full synthetic 75-90 on deck (it's rated for limited slip differentials).

2002 Toyota Tacoma PreRunner. Rear differential.

Out: Mobil 1 75W90 (with right around 8 years/100K miles on it--still looked great!)
In: Valvoline SynPower 75W90.

2017 Silverado 1500, front & rear diff with Amsoil Severe Gear', Transfer case with Valvoline fluid. The truck has 31k miles. The fluid in both differentials looked as one would expect, dark but still doing it's job.

The transfer case plug had the most metal shavings, fluid looked O.K..

After I was done I thought about a new rear diff cover, with the drain plug. Not a bad idea if one plans to keep the truck & do a handful of fluid changes.

I also put on a metal skid plate, about $238 from an eBay seller.
