Best oil filter is: https://www.fram.com/parts-search/XG6607/ because it filters better and can trap more dirt before clogging, also for its silicone adbv & wire backing. Just filter performance issues.
Emotional choices are the Wix, Mobil1, Fram ToughGuard, & Royal Purple oil filters, all OK, just not the best.

Guess you have missed seeing many of the photos posted in this forum showing examples of nearly closed louvers. No thanks on that, I'll always inspect louvers before buying a filter. Choked down louvers will increase delta-p and make bypass valve events more prevelant.

I called them. They don't know what you'll actually get which tells me it's just an old stock photo. You'll get one of the new versions for sure
