I picked up some Pentosin ATF 1 LV at this years AZ 'Clearance'

This is what Pentosin literature states:

"Pentosin ATF 1 LV Fully Synthetic Automatic Transmission Fluid is recommended for Mercedes-Benz 236.10, 236.12, and 236.14 specifications. Pentosin ATF 1 LV is ideal for lifetime applications in automatic gearboxes. It can also be used where a ‘low-viscosity’ ATF is required."

It sounds like it would be a good fit in a Mercon LV application....thoughts?

Thanks Slacktide....I was hoping that Mola or one of the other 'masters' would have given their thoughts....for now I'll use the Castrol but I'll give the Pentosin a shot later on......

That's true for just about every car out there. I have also found that when you get a custom tune, they can write a custom tune for 87 octane. You can get better performance, at no extra cost at the pump. Obviously, the higher octane tunes will offer even better performance.
