Here are pics of a XG9018 with 15k , spread out over 3, 5k oil changes using Supertech Syn 5w30. Engine is a 2012 Ecotech 2.4 GDI.

I ran one of these for 19,000 miles and I found a build up of carbon at the bottom end of the filter by the end cap. The filter was dark black just as this one is. My engine burns a quart of oil every 3,500 miles. I don't run them so long now. Hope yours is better. They are one tough filter.

Finally a ecotec filter that is not twisted or crumpled.

I had put one in my mom's '07 Vue, but she had the oil changed after only 5000 miles when she had her inspection because the shop said her oil was dirty.
No idea how it did.

Looks excellent. Especially so considering ecotec cartridge post use anecdotes notorious for squished twisted looking results. Curious if you open the housing each time to drain, or just leave it untouched and d&f the oil. Good ROI on this cartridge, think your use practice just fine.

Thanks for pics.

I only open it to remove it on the final oil change.

Looks great.
I run that exact same filter in my 2013 Equinox.
They do keep the oil clean.
