Does anyone know what the bypass pressure is on a Champion COS10575 is? I’m asking because this is the filter that GM wanted the higher bypass pressure on. Thanks. smile

I'd be curious as well since I bought 10 already.

I really wouldn't worry about it.

I can't think of any possible negative effect - - - especially SINCE IT WON'T GO INTO BYPASS ANYWAY!

Oh, and this:

https://www.bobistheoilguy.com/forums/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Board=6&Number=349755

He installed a TINY oil filter (used, with 9K miles on it) on the remote filter mount of his V8 powered van:

Quote:
"the small filter was the PL10241 ..or the PH3614 size in the 3/4-16 thread. The bypass is, according to Purolator, 12-15 PSID. It never came close

Read those before - but what will matter in a warranty claim is not what him or you have to say ... It's in this regarding the new lube "system" changes - and what GM has to say (and I have read):

True, but so very highly unlikely.............. so unlikely, it practically isn't any issue of concern

I STILL STAND BY EVERY WORD I TYPED IN THAT THREAD
