For those of you who enjoy the CASIO G-SHOCK line of watches. It is my understanding that Walmart stores around the country(not in my area that I have seen) are clearing out their Casio G-SHOCK Watches, most likely to get in some new additions/models.

I have had the same G-Shock watch for years. They are tough.

My G 300 is close to ten years old now. Have replaced strap 3 times and bezel once. Battery going and will need another strap and bezel. Will check local Wally World first before sinking money this one but am attached to it.

I don't personally own a G-SHOCK however, I do recommend them to those looking for a tough watch. I do have an original(well, what I think is the original) Timex IRONMAN Indiglo watch when they first appeared to my area Kmart. This too is a tough watch and I've had it now for 25 yrs. I wear it mostly for bike riding & working out. When/if it dies, I may get myself a "G" smile

None on any kind of blowout sale at my WMT. But I did manage to grab some RV anti-freeze @ $1/gallon for my power washer, and more Mobil 1 oil filters for $3.99 for my Rubicon.

I believe that every W*M store is different with their closeout or even pricing of same merchandise. I have visited 3 different stores in my area(the ones that I most frequent) and each is [often] different. Some stores having closeout and others may not. Even same items may have slightly different prices e.g., the 5qt jug of ST syn 0W20 oil, where there could be $0.30 cents different in price($15.68-$15.98), as insignificant as it may seem.

That's probably the case. I was heading over there anyway, so I had a look. At the prices I saw in the video I probably would have grabbed one.

I know that the G-SHOCK also comes in Solar and Atomic Time. I have a buddy who has both features on one single watch. Never needs a battery nor time adjustments; I guess. That's cool and I may look for those features for(yeah right) $19??? laugh

Dang good deal for sure. Now I got to go back to Walmart! I just want one.

You can see on some of the them that they have been discounted twice because of the overlapping stickers.

I had one of the old Ironman Indiglo watches that I bought in late 90's(I think), and it lasted round about 10 years before the battery died. Band was worn out, so I changed the battery, and just carried it around in my pocket for years and years. Dropped it in the fishing pond a few times. Finally slipped out of my pocket to never be seen again.

I've only replace the battery(CR2016) 3x in 25 yrs. My band broke too and I replaced it with a band from another watch that didn't work any longer. I only wear this watch to workout/yard work etc. A real beater.

I'm a big fan of the solar and atomic G-Shocks. My main beater watch is a GWM-5610, a more classic square faced shape with Multiband 6 and Tough Solar. Not terribly expensive at under $100, and would hopefully last forever with no battery changes.

Those are some great prices on G-Shocks. I'm going to have to swing by my local Walmart to see what they have.

I picked up a beater Casio (not G-Shock) last year, for those times when there is a chance my watch is going to suffer damage and I don't want to risk wearing a nicer watch. I think it was around $15 on Amazon.
