Our Mazda 6 and our Hyundai Sonata use the same tire size, 215/55-17. We put Continental True Contacts Tour tires on the Mazda around Thanksgiving, taking advantage of the various black Friday promotions and rebates at DT. Based on how they are performing on the Mazda, I plan to purchase the same tires for the Hyundai later this year, replacing the original Kumho Solus tires. The car only has 18K miles on it, but I will replace because of age regardless of tread wear sometime before the 25K mile mark. They are worthy of your consideration IMO, and are $104 each at DT right now. Good luck.

I sort of recall CapriRacer saying that H-speed and higher tires have a cap ply in the construction which increases durability and prevents steel belt separation, making it a safer tire.
