Oil For Kubota L210...

What wt is recommended? I use M1 10-30 in all my OPE with great results for the last 30 years or so.

Note that there are two oil filters for the Kubota L200-285's...

A cartridge, Napa 7030 / Wix 57030, around $20

And a canister, Wix 51342, but a Wix 51516 also works, (lower bypass pressure)

Conversion kit for cartridge to canister is
Part #15213-32070, new gasket is 15213-32320.

15W-40 HDEO. 5W-40 isn't needed or a better oil until the starting temps get below 17*f

Literally any 15w-40 or 10w-30 HDEO will do fine.
Kubota engines are very robust and not picky about lubes, as long as you use a modern diesel rated lube.
A house brand (ST, RK, TSC etc) would do fine.

We have four Kubota tractors on our farm. A L2900, a BX2230, and M105X, and a M125X.

We are using Mobil Delvac 1 ESP 5W-40 or Mobil TDT 5W-40 in them.

I have tried other oils, Rotella T6, Triple Protection, Valvoline All Fleet, and while they are good oils, I like the way the tractors are running with the Mobil oils. With the L2900 and BX2230, it is really noticeable. Smoother and quieter.

With the Mobil rebates going on, it is a win-win!

How hard is finding parts for your tractor?

15w40 or 10w30 HDEO would work. My mid 80's Kubotas call for 10w30 or SAE 30, but I run 15w40 and 5w40 if that matters. Cold starts aren't an issue because they have block heaters that will overheat the engine if on too long.

I have a L175 and I use 10w30 T4 which seems to work just fine, the 210 manual recommends a 30wt over 77F and 20wt from 32F to 77F and a 10w30 under 32 degrees fahrenheit the same as my L175 manual, but nowadays mostly any oil is fine like the others have said.
