I took this off a 2019 Silverado with the 6.2l and the miles on the filter and vehicle when I pulled this off was 700 miles. Basically brand new. What is interesting is this filter is built better than the PF63E's you get at the parts store. I wonder why? It doen't have the plastic inside but metal with holes as you can see in the one photo. Just wanted to share.

They use a different not available filter to catch the idiots that never change the oil in a new 60K truck.

I stocked up on a bunch of PF63 (non e-core) filters while they were still available and will run them until I run out and then go to the Fram Ultra equivalent.

Could be ! Both of my L83's came with this filter and the PF63e's I buy have composite ends/core ....
Another thought is the type of PRV ... Concerns over machine shop debris swept out of the can "sump" with the dome end PRV in bypass ... ?
