Huh and I always thought cowboy coffee was just bad coffee with a lot of plastic jug whiskey in it, you learn something new every day.

I had only heard of the "Drink it with grounds" or the "Egg" type of cowboy coffee before... Then again I live nowhere near the cowboy section of Canada which is a couple provinces over in Alberta.

A simpler version my parents made it all the time...glass coffee pot, one filter, pour boiling water over new grounds and coffee drips through...its good,,,

Friendly enough guy but the "cowboy act" was a little inconsistent. A paper towel was new fangled but he used the term "coffee filter" easily.

Same thing using a small can = Hobo coffee.
