It can't be right. Every single A3/B4 I have ever seen has calcium well north of 2,000ppm. There's plenty of recent Castrol 0W-40 UOAs to look at. They will all have high calcium.

FYI, Castrol 0W-40 VOA (from Blackstone) that SLO_Town did in 2014 showed Calcium level of 1944 ppm.

Not well north of 2,000, but not as low as what the OP saw either.
 
Almost exclusively used PP on my toyo and with 190k no leaks no nothing.
Used other synthetics and not had that success, in fact will switch to PP 5W30 for my MB starting next oil change
