I just put on some of these from AA, they are a lot cheaper and made by Trico for AA. They work well just have to see how long they last.

Has anyone else tried these?

Never heard of them until now; but I'd rather spend my time doing something besides replacing wiper blades over and over and over. The wipers installed on my car are 6 years old and I'm willing to wager they work better than the brand new @%#& you can buy at Wally world or Auto Bone Zone. Absolutely QUIET and no streaking whatsoever; and they're SIX YEARS OLD. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0002Z9QWQ/?tag=10b-ww1-20
To be honest, your Q led me to do a little online searching, and it seems there are differences of opinions regarding the "best" wipers. Surprise, surprise. http://www.reviewlab.com/best-wiper-blades https://10beasts.com/best-windshield-wipers/ https://thewirecutter.com/reviews/best-windshield-wipers-for-your-car/ I find it intriguing that 3 different sites all rate the Bosch Icon as "Best" or "Highest Rated." I personally disagree; having used Bosch Icons before, I'm happy with my more expensive ones THAT LAST LONGER.
Hope your "lot cheaper" choice works out for you....Generally speaking, you get what you pay for.

Not me , I will buy wiper blade replacements when rockauto.com puts them on sale / close out .

Often have to replace them before state inspection .

3 1/2 stars for a $28 dollar wiper blade, no thanks.

The XtraClear's were only cheaper because the website wouldn't take my discount code on any other Trico, other wise they are about the same price. I've had good luck with the NeoForm's, the set on my truck are 3+ years old.

Many new wiper blades keep the windshield streak-free. But the true test is whether these AA-blades squeak during a very light rain.
Answer me that please?

Not at all. It's been rainy here since I put them on and they are flawless and with the RainSense feature on my Buick I'm very happy. Like I said I have had great luck with Trico, I've used the NeoForm mostly but have tried the Winter version and now these.

I have never paid full price for them at AA, this last code was 25% off $30. I was going to use it on the NeoForm's but it wouldn't except the code so that is why I ended up with these and I needed them right away, I really messed up, I was cleaning the snow of my windsheild with a snowjoe and had the wiper up and caught it and broke the adapter, doh.

Happy to see this thread because I had these Carquest/AA Xtraclear's picked out for my next wipers. Hard to turn your back on the price after discount. Glad to hear they're working well for you OP. Baseline standard Trico for sure. Likely a relabeled Trico View.

Mine are the beam style and look more like the Ultra's. As far as I can tell they don't make a conventional wiper for my Lucerne or I would consider them for the summer, beams are best in the winter.

My local parts store has Trico Flex for under $4. I remember years ago when you could buy just the rubber inserts for 2 bucks a pair. Guess people are too lazy to mess with that these days.

Bump. I just bought these xtraclear at AAP. They didn’t even offer them in the front of the store, had to get them from the back.

Any update to how they held up?

I have to say I'm very pleased with these, a year later and they still work like new, no noise, no streaks.
