150 more pictures at: http://www.fototime.com/inv/19D59D5355EE86A

I’ll be adding more pictures of the maintenance and vin stickers soon.

This is a 2008 Pontiac G8 finished in Phantom Black metallic with the black interior. I’ve had this car stored indoors for nearly the last 4 years and brought it out of storage this past fall. This G8 looks as clean as a six year old vehicle because it was taken off the road when it was 6 years old. (Sold new May 2008)

Car has had over $4,300 in new and recent parts and service including a new timing chain kit, new spark plugs, new air and cabin filters, throttle body and MAF sensor cleaning, new serpentine belt, coolant change, transmission fluid and filter change, brake pads and rotors front and rear, brake fluid change, new headliner, etc. All using OEM GM, AC Delco or other name brand parts. You shouldn't need major maintenance for another 100,000 miles.

Mechanically it runs and drives great. The engine runs strong and feels smooth at idle, while accelerating and throughout the cruising range and it starts instantly whether hot or cold. The transmission shifts precisely at all speeds. The steering wheel is on dead center going down the road with no shakes or vibrations at speed, the brakes are firm with no pedal pulsations or pulling to one side when stopping and the suspension is tight. The A/C blows ice cold. When driven with restraint, you can top 30 MPG in steady highway driving. It has a recent 2/2020 Virginia safety inspection and emissions inspection good to February 2021.

It’s in great condition inside and out and it hasn’t had any previous paint or bodywork. The Phantom Black metallic paint just about glows in the sun light. In the shade it looks like piano black and shines like glass. It has been cleaned with Meguiar’s Smooth Surface Clay System, polished with Meguiar’s Mirror Glaze cleaner polish and topped off with Meguiar’s Ultimate Synthetic Wax and then sealed with Meguiar’s Ultimate Fast Finish for a long lasting brilliant high gloss shine. The headlights were detailed with the 3M headlight polishing system for a crystal clear look. The interior is very clean too with no significant wear. The trunk doesn’t look like it was ever used and the engine compartment had been detailed and is clean enough to eat off of. It has a clean Carfax with two owners.

Priced at $7,500. Located in the Washington DC area but could deliver at low cost. [email protected]

Once the timing changes are done it's a pretty solid engine that can get over 30 mpg.

Sheesh, is this all they are going for these days?

There are hardly any for sale around here. I had someone come in my office a couple of years ago and offer me $20K for mine.

Which I declined.

Oh, OK, I didn't see 160K miles. Mine had like 40K at the time, one owner since new.

Might be worth more parting it out. I had a guy in my office yesterday that scraped the side off his GT. He said he got $600 for a shredded front bumper cover, and $350 apiece for the little vents that go in the faux hood scoops ...

He replaced it with a really nice GXP that he found, but I didn't ask what he paid for it ...

I did not see the miles either . Otherwise , I would not mind having it , although I have no need for another car . ( Is that a sedan ? )

Not faux at all. One of my pictures of the underside of the hood shows that clearly.

That is beautiful car and looks like it has been well cared for. I think at that price you will have an enthusiast pay full value if it drives as good as it looks. It is a pretty specific car so you may also want to post it on a pontiac/sports car forum.
