Looking for a Amsoil ea filter user UOA test results. Especially interested in the wear components.

Amsoil makes great filters

An alternative if you're looking for a mesh backed synthetic is the fram ultra

I'll switch between them depending on availability

Here's one I did on my F150 before I traded it....

Schaeffer 9000 5w-30 and an Amsoil filter. 9155 miles.

Thanks; yeah Amsoil does make an exceptional filter; but for the money, Fram Ultra is a better value I think. That report helped cement my decision to use Schaeffer Oil.

I have been posting on BITOG for many years and have pretty much exclusively used

the Amsoil oil filters. The eao 20, now called the ea15k20 and the eao36 filter. My

UOA's include the ISO code and particle counts.

All my UOA's posted on here are using Amsoil filters with the exception of the Caravan ones.

I'm now using Fram Ultra because it's 1/2 the cost and IMO it's the same/better filter.

Amsoil doesn't make the filters.
