When did they start selling oem Hyundai and Toyota filters at WalMart? I noticed that tonight while I was there, and the prices arent bad either. $5.97 for the Hyundai filter, I dont recall the Toyota prices.

I don't know. That said, I noticed the same at an Autozone store here in Vero Beach yesterday, but it was Toyota and Honda OEMs. Almost missed them; they were on a shelf down near the floor. That was a surprise.
Seems about 2 months or so ago they started showing up at some Walmarts, and have been slowly making it to all.
A couple of months ago is about when I started seeing them here in the Omaha, NE area.
I've bought a couple from Wally for $5.97 and one from dealer for $6.79...which came with a new washer. Comes out to about the same price wise.
Even at my Toyota Stealership you can get their filter for $4.50 or less on special.
Toyota, Honda, and Chrysler are at wally world in most states now.
