Nascar is betting everything on Busch carrying the dying brand. They will make sure he gets his 200th win at a Cup race. I really don't understand how anyone can call Nascar "racing". It's definitely "sports entertainment" ala WWE, and equally as scripted.

Not now.

Busch was really dominate today. Not a huge fan of his but the guy is on a great roll and is an impressive driver.

Busch is the demise of NASCAR if you ask me... it all started with the joke of a championship that he was given back in 2015 after missing the first HALF of the season due to injury. Toyota and Gibbs buy wins and spend the most money. The guy is talented behind the wheel but other than that he's a total jerk and cry baby.

The Kyle Busch championship argument is valid except when you look at what happened. He was injured in a Xfinity Series race at Daytona. Daytona International Speedway is owned by International Speedway Corporation which itself is majority owned by the France family who own NASCAR itself. The spot where he hit was known to not be as protected as it could be. Therefore NASCAR had little to no choice but to grant an exemption. When the exemption was granted, Kyle still had to fulfill the requirements to qualify for the playoffs in significantly less time than everyone else. He won a points race, which earned him eligibility into the Playoffs assuming he could get his total points numbers in the top 35. Soon thereafter he pointed him putting him into the playoffs.

And that's where the fault is with the system
Doesn't matter which wall or what track
The problem is he didn't compete in all the points races as every other driver did. NASCAR ruling should have been to be eligible for a Champioship Title a driver must compete in all points paying races and he did not.
He missed the first 11 races of the 2015 season
He should have never been allowed to contend for a title, but with the current points system as it is, one would assume that a part time driver could be a nascar champ as long as he wins a race to qualify
