Truck runs different from one tank to the next occasionally?

I notice periodically usually every that my diesel truck runs with a bit of a vibration, then it will last until the next time I fill up. You can see it at idle watching the steering wheel shake slightly. Not real noticeable unless you're a paranoid nut like me, but do you think it's cause we have different quality fuel? Like say maybe they didn't put in the correct level of cetane? I notice this maybe 5 or 6 tanks out if the year.
 
Yes. There may also be contamination in the fuel. I've had the same issue with fill ups from certain stations, gas engine though.
 
I use stanadyne lubricity formula. Although I've forgotten the last couple tanks. It really helps minimize it when i.do use it. Occasionally I'll put.in some power service grey bottle too.
