Racing oil filters, in general, are supposed to have thicker stronger canisters to withstand higher oil pressure spikes and vibration, maybe even a hit by a small rock during a race.
They are also capable of higher flows with slightly less pressure drop than a typical street oil filter.
Generally more pleats inside help them handle high flows without falling apart, along with maybe more binding resin amongst the wood fibers in the media to be stronger.
They usually filter dirt out a little worse, although not much of a compromise there in some of them.
I can't find anything on Hastings Racing oil filters either. You could just trust that it has high burst strength and higher flow (less restriction), since Hasting's reputation is OK. I prefer Fram Racing Oil filters, with Wix Racing oil filters coming in a close second though.
Best one I've ever seen is

and there have been other threads on it, with comment by someone at Fram who helped design it or at least set the specifications, not sure which he did.
