Hi, I am putting some feelers out since I am looking to downsize my car. My new job commute is 4 miles each way so I am looking for something much smaller.

I am looking to sell my 2017 Toyota Sienna L model, 13100 miles, excellent condition with clean title in hand. It is silver in color with gray interior, 7 seater van. $24000 OBO, Car is located in Joplin Missouri.

If anyone is interested, just let me know and I can send you some pictures of it and more details. Thanks

Brons2- Yes that is correct. When we lived in KY, both came in very handy because of our commutes. Now in Joplin, we really only need 1.

Might wanna see what a Carmax dealer might give you. It's hard to sell expensive used vehicles at or even below book price unless it's a truck or something sought after.

Absolutely agree. Also if you driving less (like 4 miles) it does not exactly matter if you drive an Excursion vs tiny car since you burn so little fuel. You may incur a pretty large loss on this one.

good luck!

Is this the same vehicle that you had for sale a year ago with 4K miles?

I'm thinking the OP is tired of driving a soccer mom mini-van.

It is these times that buying used really pays off...unfortunately for the OP as he will eat the depreciation in the transaction.

The OP needs to reduce the price by $7-8K to sell it.

That is what KBB says. Shocks me. I just cannot believe the depreciation.

Hang onto it. As said, for short commute, mileage doesn't really matter.

That way, you won't lose anything on it, and you will have the capacity of a van IF you need it.

Addyguy- That is the way that I have decided to go. I got a offer for $21500 privately and the dealer offered 20,500.

Some of the other posters mentioning taking 7-8K off the price, not sure where they are getting their numbers from, I wonder if the roles were reversed would they be that aggressive in their pricing?

Thanks for the input from the Bitog community!

They may have been in the market for bargain of the year on a 2017 Sienna.
