Hello. I just bought a 2018 Honda pioneer 1000 and I am soon ready to change the oil. The manual says to use 10w30 or 10w40 if it does not get below -10 degrees f. I am thinking of using Lucas 10w40 atv/utv motor oil suitable for wet clutches since this utv has clutch packs. The manual says to use an oil that meets spec JASO MA. The Lucas meets JASO MA2. Is there a difference between the specs? From what I read it should be fine to use. Also I am going to be changing the gear oils. Not sure but I think it's just a 80w90 weight gear oil. I have either castrol 75w140 or 75w90 in a 30 gal drum. Will they also work? Thanks, Mahanoy

Yes, you can use either flavor of the Lucas, if that is the oil you choose. Do not use the gear lube you have in the drum. It does not belong in your 1000 Any JASO MA1 or 2 will suffice.

Do you know what I need for the differentials on the pioneer? They seem to whine alot. I dont know if its them or the transmission
